Packing
So the packing has started. Since I have virtually no free time before I leave, I figure that I might as well start early. That way I don't show up to the airport and realize I've forgotten half of the things I was supposed to bring. Knowing me, it could happen.

I'm scared of Norwegian toiletries (pff, like I even know a single Norwegian toiletry), so my first task was to think of every possible drug-store item that I use, and buy two of them. Ok, I know that's a little neurotic, and in some cases I bought three, but I like there to be as few surprises as possible.
Second task was to find all of the casual clothes that I will need in Norway. This involved emptying my closet and dresser onto the floor, and then reorganizing. I've heard it's going to be cold, windy, and rainy (not unlike Vancouver, except stormier). So that means I'm taking all of my Vancouver "winter" clothes. All of my real winter clothes that I used in Ontario apparently will be useless (ie. down jacket that doesn't repel the slightest bit of water, unless it's in the form of -35 degree snow). My bed is completely covered in clothes now; how am I going to get into my bed to sleep? Ahh well, I'll just throw it all into a suitcase and forget about it until tomorrow.
Tomorrow... work clothes. Aren't you excited?
Noway countdown: 8 days.
